Kristie Curtis, CPS – Executive Director
Kristie was appointed Executive Director of New Hampshire Teen Institute in January of 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Keene State College where she majored in Psychology, and joined the Teen Institute staff in June of 2008 as the Director of Outreach. Since 2000, she has worked professionally with children, teens and adults of all ages in nonprofit settings. Kristie brings many years of fundraising and volunteer coordination experience to NH Teen Institute, as well as a strong background in youth development and group facilitation. Kristie is directly responsible for TI’s day to day operations, outreach and development efforts. She is a Certified Prevention Specialist and will direct program staff to ensure organizational sustainability. Contact Kristie at KCurtis.ti@gmail.com.

Marissa Carlson, CPS — Program Director
Marissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pomona College in California and joined the Teen Institute staff in November of 2009 after six years of volunteering at both Summer Program and Leaders in Prevention. She is a founding member of Mill City Productions-a nonprofit, community based theatre collaborative in North Adams-and served as their Artistic Director for 6 years. She brings strong communication and facilitation skills to TI and will work closely with volunteers to move Teen Institute’s programs forward and incorporate her own creative program development and direction.
